She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde William Blight; her parents, James Richard Palmer and Myrtle Vickers Palmer of Virginia; her siblings, Jim Palmer (Ester), Jesse Palmer, Ruth "Scottie" Easley and Rubye Palmer Ashley (Lewis); and her mother-in-law Emma P. Judd.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Blight (Patty), Danny Blight (Karen) and Marye Blight Davenport (Chris); her grandchildren, Eva Blight Villar (Billy), Eric Blight (Jessica), Joshua Blight (Katie), Hannah Davenport Holian (Matthew), Lauren Blight Littlejohn (William) and Manuel Davenport; her great grandchildren, Tiffani Moore, Hunter Walker (Will), Gavin Villar, Ava Holian, Layla Holian, Abby Kate Blight, Liam Littlejohn, Kaleb White, Kailey Knight, Tyler Knight and Emily McKay (Rodney); her great great grandchildren, Joseph Villar and Lily Rose Mckay; and her sister-in-law Isabel Savell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
