It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Dee Hillis of Grant, Alabama, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Edward Hillis and Georgie Evelyn Hillis; his sons, Heath Hillis and Clyde Hillis; and his siblings, Essie Sanderson, Lela Craig Womack, Sara Stafford, Fred Lee Hillis, Ed Hillis, Eugene Hillis, Nelton Hillis, Bobby Hillis and Ronald Hillis.
He is survived by: his wife Clovie Hillis; his children, June Childers, Glenda Pritchett and Andrew Hillis; and his sister Mary Craft (David). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Troup Cemetery (120 Cathedral Caverns Hwy, Grant, AL 35747).
