He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas David and Hazel Dean Ashley; and his sister Belva Black. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Whitaker; and his siblings, Jimmy Ashley (Rae), Peggy Hardin (Rickey) and Patricia Key.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grassy Mountain Holiness Church (3701 Cottonville Rd, Grant, AL 35747). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Free Home Cemetery (300 Free Home Rd, Grant, AL 35747).
