She was predeceased by : her husband Jimmie D. Nix; her parents, Louise Freeman and Albert Freeman; her brother Ray Freeman; and her great grandchild Joseph Clever.
She is survived by : her children, Bernice Creel (Greg), Mark Nix and Chris Nix; her brothers, Dewayne Freeman (Thelma), Carl Nelson "Peanut" Freeman, Steve Freeman (Shelby), Terry Freeman (Dana) and Philip Freeman; and her grandchildren, Athena Venable (Josh), Karina Clever (Dallion), Katrina Morgan, Jennifer Siskoff (Jon), Cloe Nix, Angela Nix and ZonLuke Nix. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and a giant host of nieces and nephews.
