He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Maxine Rhodes Perry; his daughter, Lena Marie Perry Broussard (Jimmy Lane), caretakers, Brenda Hambright and Kersey Hinton; his siblings-in-law, Nilmon Rhodes (Jean) and Peggy Rhodes McDaniel (Joe McDaniel); his step-grandchildren, Lane Ankrom (Keith), Taylor Broussard (Alana) and Clint Broussard; and his step-great-grandsons, William Lane Horner and Loren Horner. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 57, Greensboro, AL. 36744.
