It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Giddens Saucer (Greenville, Alabama), who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Liz Saucer Murphy and Lisa Saucer Thomas (Jack); her grandchildren, Denise Johnston (Jamey), Brianne Harbison and Crystal Murphy Cobb (Alex); her great grandchildren, Nicholas Garvin (Abby), Bethany Garvin (Blake Majors), Madelyn Harbison and Julius "Buddy" Harbison III; her great great grandchild Grant Garvin; her sister Ola Mae "Cookie" Bowler; and her cousin Lola Jane Callins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
