It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Gail Sherman of Greenville, Alabama, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward William and Adean Hilburn Harris; and her grandparents, Amos Samuel, Sue Harris of Missouri, John D. and Fannie Pearl Hilburn.

She is survived by : her husband Ray Sherman; her children, Laken Santana Hudson, Kyle Sherman and Adrian Sherman; her grandsons, Gabriel Kyle Sherman and Emerson Wade Sherman; and her siblings, Nellie Pearl Hall (Jimmy) and John W. Harris. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church (81 Pleasant Home Road, Brantley, AL 36009).
