It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Daniel Knowles of Grove Hill, Alabama, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alton Knowles and Alice Knowles; and his siblings, Brad Knowles, Tom Knowles (Elaine), Louise Worley and Mildred Presley.

He is survived by : his wife Rilla Williams Knowles; his children, Janet Wilkerson (Grady) and Joe Knowles; his grandsons, Caleb Knowles and Coleman Wilkerson (Chesney); his sister-in-law Betty Knowles; and his friends, Nick, Amy, Grayson and Weston Gibson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Horeb Baptist Church or to Gideons International.
