He is survived by : his wife Dorothy G. Smith; his children, Melinda May (Jonathon), William E. Smith Jr. (Kathy W.) and Joel Smith (Doretta); and his sisters, Patricia Wakefield and Kathy Smith. He is also survived by 20 Grandchildren.
