He was predeceased by: his father Arvil "Buck" Hollis; his wife Louise Threadgill Hollis; his son Wade Hollis; his mother Evelyn Hollis; his siblings, Bill, Mack, Ricky Hollis and Virginia Hollis Jones; his grandson Kyle Hollis; and his daughter-in-law Janet Hollis.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hollis and Sonja Burleson (Greg) of Guin, AL; his daughter-in-law Pam Hollis of Hamilton, AL; his grandchildren, Blake Burleson, Jessica Tilley, Courtney Wallace, Kenya Rockhard, Ben Hightower and Sarah Davis; his great grandchildren, JimmahKate, Coastal, Jaylah Tilley, Waylon Wallace, Emerlynn, Brooke Hollis, Brandon Rockhard, Moddie, Caleb Richardson, Noah and Lexi Hightower; his great great grandchild Aurora Richardson; and his sister Irene Whitehead.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Veal Memorial Funeral Home - Guin (7195 US-43, Guin, AL 35563). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
