He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Wilson and Pauline Cantrell Wilson (Marjorie Burleson Wilson); his wife Marjorie Burleson Wilson; and his brother Mogene Wilson. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Wilson (Donna) and Russ Wilson; his grandson Chase Wilson (Leta); and his great grandchildren, Carson Foster (Katelyn) and Jon Coleman Foster.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Guin.
