It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debra Joan Banta of Guin, Alabama, born in Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Cefos Lee Green and Mamie Louise Markem Green; her husband Bobby Gene Banta; and her sisters, Sherry Lynn Sandlin and Virgina Anne Gunter.

She is survived by : her children, Christy Banta (Sharon), Rick Banta (Tanya) and David Banta; her goddaughter Rebecka Vera; her grandsons, Joshua Banta and Titus Banta; her brother LeeRoy Green; her half-sister Eva; and also Brookly Banta. She is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Veal Memorial Funeral Home - Guin (7195 US-43, Guin, AL 35563).
