We bid farewell to Hoyt Lindley of Guin, Alabama, born in Red Bay, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 6, 2025 at the age of 95. Hoyt touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lindley and Ruth Mae Garrison Lindley; his wife Dorothy Mae Shirley Lindley of Guin; and his children, Alan and Donna.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Bush (Keith) of Huntsville, AL and Michael K. Lindley (Kathleen C.) of Lafayette, IN; his grandchildren, Jordan Bush, Jaden Bush, Beth Lindley, Matt Lindley and Laura Kilmer; and his great grandchild Eleanor Kilmer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Guin First Baptist Church (7622 US-43, Guin, AL 35563). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
