He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyman Tarwater and Addilou Nix Tarwater; his daughter Shelly Tarwater; his great grandchildren, Braxton Kade and Rylan James; and his siblings, Milton, Billy Joe Tarwater, Betty Rawls, Dorothy Zuber, Shelby Tuckey, Belvy Haney, Linda Tarwater and Becky Hubbert.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Tarwater (Lisa) and Christy Langley (Phil); his grandchildren, Brooklynn Gann (Eric), Harper Langley, Ryan Tarwater and Skyler Tarwater; his great grandchildren, Collin Riley and Haisley Gann; and his sister Janice Ingle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel (981 AL-253, Winfield, AL 35594). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery.
