Winfred Markham Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Winfred Markham of Guin, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Markham and Shirley Barnes Markham; his parents-in-law, Tom and Faye Hankins; and his grandparents, Troy, Selma Markham, Guy and Ruby Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Hankins Markham; his children, Tara Markham and Tyler Markham (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Mack, Adeline and John Tyler Markham; and his siblings, Sally Tucker (Dwayne), Danny Markham (Charlotte), Josh Markham, Becky Williams (Gene), Donna Wilson (Steve), Jean Chaffin (Greg), Lynn Ritchie (Mike) and Sally Johnson (Caleb). He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Guin First Baptist Church (7622 US-43, Guin, AL 35563). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials the family request memorials be made to the Gideon's.
