It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Jean Cromwell of Gulf Shores, Alabama, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Grady Brent Cromwell; her parents, Glenn Law and Dorothy Law; and her siblings, Brenda Law and Larry Law.
She is survived by: her daughter Shana Bell (Bernie) of Gulf Shores; her grandchildren, Madelynne Bell Gomez (Carlos), Allyson Bell and Lucas Bell; her friend Renee Shelnutt; and her siblings, Earl Law, Donald Law, James Law, Janet Doss, Ricky Law and Terry Law.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (1802 Madison St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or Robertsdale Church of Christ, in her memory.
