He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlise Maze and Edna Earle Maze; and his siblings, Shelia Light and James Earl Maze. He is survived by: his wife Tilda Maze; his children, Amanda Campbell (Kevin) and Bradley Maze; his siblings, Marie Walls, Lynne Willis (Jason) and Keith Maze; and his grandchildren, Brody Campbell and Casey Campbell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (2126 Pleasant Hill Rd, Guntersville, AL 35976). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
