He is survived by: his son Jared McClendon (Crystal); his sister Catherine Hayes; his grandchildren, Carly Spriggs (Kalin) and Jordan Kinley; his great grandchildren, Kai'ryn Spriggs and Coe'ynn Spriggs; and his niece Amy Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
