She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Powell and Raymond Powell; her husband Aaron Cooper; and her siblings, Othalua Naler, Vivian Townsend, Dean Duckett, Jean Sybert, Sue Gregory, Sylvester Powell, Willie J. Powell and Larry Powell.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Keith Cooper (Maryann Cooper) and David Cooper (Karen Cooper); her nephew Brian Gregory; and her grandchildren, Joseph Alexander II, Rebecca Cooper, Amy Goldberg (Ethan Goldberg), Jacob Cooper (Rachel Cooper), James Cooper and Kaylene Cooper. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
