He was predeceased by: his mother Willie Ruth Hester Brewer; and his sisters, Gail Harden (Sonny) and Layfette Ashley (Billy Ray). He is survived by: his father William Lee Brewer; his wife Gearldine Jackson; his daughter Jerrie Steele (Brian); his grandchildren, Will Kirk (Kristin) and Mallory Treadwell (Adam); his great grandchildren, Blake and Brewer Treadwell; and his brother Johnny Brewer (Katherine). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
