He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Roy, Clara Cooper, Bayles and Audrie Davis. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Coopeer and Sue Coopeer; his brother Benny Cooper (Tracy); his nieces and nephews, Emily Hill (Justin), Paige Vaughn (Ethan), Dalton Cooper (Lauren) and Matthew Gentle; his great-nieces, Decklyn, Addalyn Hill and Everly Vaughn; and his son Devin Ferguson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Berryhill Funeral Home Chapel (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810).
