It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Edward Putman of Gurley, Alabama, born in Madison, Alabama, who passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Putman and Clara Putman. He is survived by: his wife Polly Putman; his sons, Edward Putman (Tracey) and Jason Putman (Kathy); his daughter-in-law Patti Putman; his grandchildren, Frank Putman, John Putman, Mattie Moat (Blake) and Taylor Putman; his sister-in-law Dot Putman; his son Clint Putman; and his daughter-in-law Beth Putman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
