He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera "Pat" Childers and William "Doug" Thorne; and his daughter Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Margie; his children, Daniel Thorne (Kelle), Diana Thornton (David) and Doreen Rose (Mike); and his siblings, Marilyn Hudson, Wayne and Alan Thorne. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
