It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Ferguson of Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Smith and Martha Opal Smith; her grandparents, Almus and Emma Hogan; her sisters, Cheryl Smith and Gwendolyn Sanford; her son Wayne Albritton; her granddaughter Zena Glass; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Albritton.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Albritton and Terry Davis (Shane); and her grandchildren, Joshua Albritton (Crystal), Aaron Holder (Danielle), Brandi Albritton (Aaron), Brittanie Braxton (Darrin), Cassandra Holder and Sha Woods (Fernando). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
