He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Edwards and Velma Edwards; his brothers, Veto Edwards and Billy Edwards; and his former wife Linda Bell Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Edwards, Derrell Edwards, Dixie Edwards Stovall and Libby Edwards Garrison; his children-in-law, Amanda Edwards, Bobby Stovall and Michael Garrison; his grandchildren, Liana Ingle, Lona Garrison, Brayden Edwards and Olivia Claytor; his siblings, Joan Logan, Janis Edwards and Doug Edwards; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Edwards and Bonnie Brooks Edwards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
