He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Jones and Fannie Jones; his children, Dannie Jones and Mary Sue Bruce; his grandson Dexter Fummeler; his stepdaughter Stephanie Vandiver; and his siblings, Royce Jones, Sam Jones, Ralph Jones, Jay Jones, Raymond Jones, Ardis Woodruff and Jane Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jones; his children, Keith Jones and Amanda Fummeler (Steven); his stepdaughters, Wanda Wright (Maurice) and Deborah Bacon (Ron); his grandsons, Jackson, Harrison Fummeler and Jared Bruce; and his siblings, John Paul Jones, Sue Shewbart and Linda Edgar (Kenneth). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
