She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Aderholt and Clara Aderholt; her daughter Karen Adair; her grandsons, Brad Elkins and Clay Knight; her husband Rufus "RedByrd" Byrd; and her siblings, Bernadean Aderholt, Kenneth Aderholt, Quinnon Aderholt, Willodean Aderholt, Kathleen Gabriel, Elaine Clay, Imogene Harris and Virgil Wayne Aderholt.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Elkins (Doyle) and Retina Clemons (Len); her sister Barbara Jean Hicks (Leon); her grandchildren, Alex Elkins, Kody Adair, Dillon Adair and Ashley Knight Luker (Colby); and her great grandchildren, J. B. Elkins, Violet Elaine Luker, Bentley Adair, Colton Adair and Mason Adair.
