It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward J. Cagle of Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Newman Cagle and Cora Lee Clark Cagle; and his brothers, William E. Cagle and James "Monk" Cagle. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Raye Wakefield Cagle; his children, Tammie Canerday, Edward Keith Cagle and Olan Bradley Cagle (Tina Winkles); and his grandchildren, Ivory Hazel, Isaac Edward Cagle, Ila Cagle (Justin Simon), Levi Cagle, Cierra Conner, Grace Nodine, Austin Winkles and Amanda Brown. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
