Edward J. Cagle Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward J. Cagle of Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newman Cagle and Cora Lee Clark Cagle; and his brothers, William E. Cagle and James "Monk" Cagle. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Raye Wakefield Cagle; his children, Tammie Canerday, Edward Keith Cagle (His) and Olan Bradley Cagle (Tina Winkles); and his grandchildren, Ivory Hazel, Isaac Edward Cagle, Ila Cagle (Justin Simon), Levi Cagle, Cierra Conner, Grace Nadine, Austin Winkles and Amanda Brown. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Home Baptist Church (7135 Old Hwy 20, Leighton, AL 35646). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
