He was predeceased by: his wife Renett Knox; his parents, Albert Knox and Ruthie Knox; his daughter Jennifer; and his sons-in-law, Vince Crumpton, Tim Cook and Greg Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Nathan Knox (Paula) and Jessica Hale (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Jenna Crumpton, Kelsie Prados (Paul), Colton Knox, Sarah Crumpton (Fiance' Tristan Gunter), Amelia, Zoey and Gabriel Williams; and his sister Ila Kirkpatrick (Daniel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Prospect Baptist Church (202 Co Rd 3463, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
