With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janette Harbin of Haleyville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband O'Neal Harbin; her son Richard Neal Harbin; her grandson William Kelsoe; her parents, Dellia Moody and Melvin Vickery; her stepmother Sid Vickery; and her sister Elsie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Harbin (Cindy) and Pam Kelsoe; her grandchildren, Heather Bentley (Chris), Justin Harbin (Carly), Jordan Kelsoe, Summer Lollar (Ty) and Chloe Reynolds; her great grandchildren, Matthew Bentley, Hannah Kate Bentley and Cameron Waid; her sisters, Margrette Leveck and Barbara Sue Vanhoossear; her stepsiblings, Paula Vickery and Greg Vickery; and her sisters-in-law, Veranda Burrell and Johnnie Parrish. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
