We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2025, at the age of 61, Jim Head of Haleyville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Jim's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his father James Sylvester Head. He is survived by: his wife Emily Head; his children, James and Ellen Head; his mother Jane Stanley Head; and his siblings, Jon Head (Danielle), Jeff Head (Julee) and Jennifer Head Grubbs (Scott). He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Haleyville Methodist Church (2207 9th Ave, Haleyville, AL 35565). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
