He was predeceased by: his mother Jackie Romans; and his parents-in-law, Terrell and Shirley Herron. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Romans; his sons, Jared Hamm (Crystal), Jason Hamm and Joel Hamm; his grandchildren, Alex Betts and Alyssa Betts; his sister-in-law Vanessa Pinkard (Tim); and his son Bass. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins; and all of his coworkers.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Colbert Memorial (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674).
