It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Howell of Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Kathy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Kathy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her mother Claudean Hancock Loden; her son Richard Howell; and her husband Paul Howell. She is survived by: her sons, Zach Knight (Allison) and Charles Howell (Andrea); her sisters, Teresa Horton, Vicki Barr (Jerry) and Sharon Stone (Frank); and her grandchildren, Lindsey Smith (Corbin), Jeb Howell, Adley and Loden Knight. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
