He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Fell Pickens; his children, Doris Ann Robinson (Steve), Dorothy Lee Roberts (Jackie), Ronald Pickens (Jenneth) and Bobby Spain (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Johnathan Robinson (Miranda), Lisa Walton (Sam Baker), Branden Roberts (Sabrina), Matt Roberts (Lauren), Heather Frederick (Myles), Shay Pickens (Dakota McKee), Jason Pickens, Caroline "Chuck" Grant, Danielle Dilworth (Chad), Summer Whiteside (Drew), Jasmine Lamiao, Trent Spain (Kamrin) and Courtney Spain; and his great grandchildren, Lyla Robinson, John Luke Robinson, Maddy Walton, Hunter Walton, Zoe Roberts, Mia Roberts, Micaela Miller, Jett Roberts, Sadie Frederick, Hallie Frederick, Phoenix Lee Grant, Maddox Hall, Vera Whiteside and Kyle Whiteside.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
