It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maedean Mays of Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Rawls and Ida Eddy; her husband Eugene Mays; and her siblings, Faylene Dempsey, Odell Rawls, Durell Rawls and Betty Jean Clark.

She is survived by : her son Dennis Mays; her grandchildren, Mason Mays and Alston Mays (Emily); and her great grandchild Sadie Mays.
