She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jones Holdbrooks and Ruby Emily Holdbrooks. She is survived by: her son Shane Cook (Nicole); her grandson Jay Cook; her husband James C. Cook; and her siblings, G. W. Holdbrooks, Ross Holdbrooks and Vernette Norris.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Winston Memorial Cemetery.
