The passing of Ruth Courington of Haleyville, Alabama leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmie McGough and Richard McGough; her son David Scott Courington; her siblings, Robert McGough, Roger McGough, Jean McGough Green, W. O. Dodd and Bernice Rowell; and her aunt Linnie Sparks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Courington and Donna Courington; her grandchildren, Hannah Wendlandt, Ben Wendlandt, Alex Beaver, Anna Beaver and Olivia Courington; her children-in-law, Analiza Courington and David Beaver; her brother Dale McGough (Linda); and her sister-in-law Judy McGough. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
