He is survived by: his wife Vern Harris Avery; his sons, Danny Avery (Diane), Dwayne Avery, DwightAvery and Doug Avery (Aileen); his grandchildren, Devon Avery (Jayci), Jennifer Lubawy (Jesse), Darrick Avery, Bryanna Schiele, Darra Avery and Sarah Avery; his great grandchildren, Waylon Avery and Emerie Avery; and his sister Carolyn Westbrook.
