She was predeceased by: her parents, Draymon "Red" Avery and Dorothy Evelyn Williams Avery; and her husband Lecil Wayne Flippo. She is survived by: her son Christopher Flippo (Misty) of Davenport, FL; her stepdaughters, Teressa Flippo and Alesia Flippo-Stonerock (James) of Los Angeles, CA.; her brother Danny Avery (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Madison Baskins Gann (Coty), Kaylie Flippo Trepp (Ashton) and Lauren Flippo; and her great grandchildren, Colt Gann and Adleigh Joy Trepp.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Zion Baptist Church (4085 County Hwy 25, Hamilton, AL 35570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Happy Hill Cemetery.
