She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Proehl; her husbands, Bobby Sam Frye and John R. Hanford; her father Harry O. Proehl; her daughter Bobbie Anne Riley; and her siblings, Norma Proehl, Carolyn George, Susan L. Curtis, Terry Lee Proehl, Jeffery Proehl and Michael C. Proehl.
She is survived by: her sons, William Frye (Rebecca), Leland Hanford and John Hanford (Cherry); and her siblings, Frank Proehl (Sandy), Morris Proehl (Tena), Paula Ritchhart, Rose Proehl and Ann Thompson (David). She is also survived by other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nichols Marion County Funeral Home (3325 Bexar Ave E, Hamilton, AL 35570). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
