She was predeceased by: her parents, Leornard Nixon and Eva Dell Yeilding Nixon; her husband Millard Mays; her granddaughters, Rayanna and Rainia King; and her siblings, Hayward Nixon (Virginia), Joel Nixon (Doris), Norma Lou Brooks (Roy), Gennetta Cayson and Jettie Jewel.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Mays and Rita King (Ricky); her grandchildren, Ryan King (Carrie), Garrison Mays and Reegan King; her great grandchildren, Ruby King, Millie King and Hattie King; and her sister Eva Carol Sartain. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
