She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Talmadge and Brennis Floyd; her husband Onas Quattlebaum; her daughter Rita Young; and her siblings, Talmadge Floyd, Mary Jo Floyd, Maxine, Christine Floyd, Ruth Morgan, Wynell Jones, Helen Skinner and Margaret Stallings.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Floyd (Arminda) and Brenda Betts; her grandchildren, Madelyn and Lauren Young; and her son-in-law Mike Young.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278 E, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers. the family suggests making donations to the Emory and Brennis Floyd Scholarship Fund at Samford University established for the purpose of scholarships for students of integrity and in need.
