He was predeceased by: his wife Carmen Payne; his parents, Frank Payne and Ossie Payne; and his siblings, Doris George, Thomas Payne "Bud" and Sharon Hood.
He is survived by: his children, Jeri Brown, Terry Payne and Chris Gamble (Tasha); and his grandchildren, Kyle Brown (Chelsy), Logan Starnes (Katie), Tyler Payne, Jacob Payne (Emma), Abigail Payne, Madison Gamble and Caelan Carnes (Emily). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
