He is survived by: his wife Kay Nesmith; his children, Shannon Clemmons (Sam) and Dr. Chad B. Nesmith (Hilda); his brother Ted G. Nesmith; and his grandchildren, Sawyer Clemmons (Abigail), Riley Clemmons and Madelyn Clemmons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church (3115 Co Rd 1069, Vinemont, AL 35179). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
His investigative work made significant contributions to public safety.
