He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Columbus and Manilla Victoria Campbell Clayton; his daughter Pam Thompson; and his siblings, Russell of Hulett, O. D., Leslie, Aaron Clayton and Sue Clayton Staggs.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Clayton; his children, Mike Clayton, Perry Clayton (Sharon) and Mary Pilgrim (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Matthew Clayton (Indura), Joshua Clayton (Brandy), David Borella (Charlie), Lindsey Guy (Michael Roberts), Sarah Hinkle, Jonathan Gilliland (Amanda) and Jake Gilliland (Emily). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
