She was predeceased by: her parents, Audy "A. A." Bearden and Mary German Bearden; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Howell and Jeanette Thomas. She is survived by: her husband David Thomas; her daughter Lauren Bentley (Derek); her grandson Drake Bentley; her sister Cynthia Bearden Ihrig; her siblings-in-law, Suzanne Howell and Steve Thomas; her nieces and nephews, Amy Joiner (Jeremy), Leslie Howell, Cameron Howell (Melissa), Malia Howell, Maci Howell, Stephen Thomas (Kim) and Julie Therriault; and her cousin Mary Theriot.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donation can be made to either the St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
