Though Billy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Billy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hambright and Carol Tyson Hambright. He is survived by: his wife Julia Adams Oliver of Hartford; his son Kaleb James Oliver (Aubrey) of Hartford; and his sisters, Kendra Oliver-Boustedt (Bo) and Kris Oliver Hammock (Mark). He is also survived by two nieces and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
