She was predeceased by : her parents, Alphus Hagler and Era Hayes Hagler; and her siblings, James H. Hagler and Tommie Jo Hawthorne. She is survived by : her husband Max Kelly; her daughter Vanessa K. Epperson (Joe); her grandchildren, Tasha Karr (Chad Sorrells), Sean Karr and Louis Epperson; her sister Gwendolyn H. Seeliger (Chuck); her nieces, Cynthia Siefert (Chris) and Katherine Entzminger (Bryan); her great-nieces, Abby Siefert and Allyssa Entzminger; and her great-nephew James Entzminger. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb With (1315 Harris Hwy, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
