He was predeceased by : his parents, Marlin Hodgman and Rachael Strung Hodgman; his wife Betty Hodgman; his daughter Kelly Hodgman; and his siblings, Larry, Henry, Ed Hodgman and Diane Emens.

He is survived by : his granddaughter Kristie Cosby of Hartselle, AL; his siblings, Ronald Hodgman of Kalamazoo, MI and Rosie Keyes of Parchment, MI; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Childers, Alex Cosby, Andrew Wood, Brody Adams, David Wood and Robert Vogt.
