He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaines Spears and Willie Spears; and his son Michael Shane Spears. He is survived by: his wife Diana Spears; his children, Jason Ray Spears, Brian Michael Spears, Billy Ray Spears, Jr. and Amy Lynne Spears; and his grandchildren, Kaytee Mayes (Maurice), Jada Spears, Addisyn Spears-Allen, Asa Spears, Brian Michael Spears, Jr., Ariana Lynn Bowen, Caden Lamar Spears, Payton Brystol Martin and Willow Kayle Spears.
